SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER
What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance server-side applications within a global electronic trading environment. You will contribute to the evolution of critical order management and market connectivity solutions, delivering scalable, reliable, and high-quality software while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and support teams. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy building robust systems with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and innovation.

What You Will Do on a Daily Basis

Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Credit eTrading order management and market connectivity layers.
Ensure the platform is developed and maintained to the highest standards of quality, security, and performance.
Produce clean, high performance, scalable and testable applications, while demonstrating a great sense of design and attention to detail.
Collaborate with the production support team for release and maintenance of the components.
Work directly with traders and perform L3 support when needed.

Your Key Skills

Strong expertise in Java 17+ development, particularly server-side applications.
Ability to design and deliver clean, scalable, testable, and high-performance solutions.
Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
Experience in migration and refactoring initiatives of existing platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Your Main Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
University degree in a quantitative field.
Solid experience in Java development, with mastery of Java 17 or later versions.
Experience working within front-office environments is highly valued.
Knowledge of electronic trading systems is considered a strong advantage.
Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
