Network Engineer (IP MPLS)

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a professional responsible for supporting and executing Cisco router migration activities within an IP/MPLS network environment, ensuring a seamless transition, network stability, and service continuity.

What You Will Do on a Daily Basis

Execute network configuration and migration activities.
Support and maintain IP/MPLS network infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents.
Monitor network performance and ensure service availability.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver network projects.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with operational procedures and best practices.

Your Key Skills

Strong expertise in IP/MPLS technologies and carrier-grade network environments;
Solid knowledge of Cisco ASR 9000 Series, CRS, and ASR 1000 routers;
Experience with LDP, MP-BGP, and ISIS (IPv4 and IPv6);
Knowledge of multicast services and MPLS Layer 2 and Layer 3 services;
Experience with Internet peering and full routing scenarios;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Proactive mindset and willingness to learn;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
High level of resilience and adaptability.

Your Main Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field;
More than 5 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry;
Proven experience in Cisco router migration projects;
Strong understanding of hardware and software architecture, including chassis, processors, line cards, and transceivers;
Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) are a plus;
Good level of English (mandatory).
