IT SOFTWARE ASSET MANAGEMENT OFFICER
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an IT Software Asset Management Officer to support software asset management and contract-related activities within an international IT environment. This professional will play a key role in ensuring software compliance, optimizing software usage, monitoring license consumption, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. The role requires close collaboration with multicultural and geographically distributed teams, contributing to governance adherence and operational excellence.
What You Will Do on a Daily Basis
Ensure the deployment and enforcement of Software Asset Management (SAM) governance, standards, and procedures.
Collect and validate software usage and purchasing evidence, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and maintenance records.
Monitor software compliance and optimization initiatives, supporting activities such as license transfers, software uninstallation, and procurement.
Analyze contracts and documentation to extract relevant software licensing rules, metrics, and compliance requirements.
Prepare reports, maintain tracking documentation, and provide management with insights, statistics, and recommendations related to software assets.
Your Key Skills
Software Asset Management (SAM) expertise and understanding of software compliance processes.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret contracts and licensing documentation.
Knowledge of reporting and data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
Experience working in multicultural environments and collaborating with remote teams.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Your Main Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience within Information Technology environments.
Previous experience in Software Asset Management activities.
Knowledge of software licensing, compliance monitoring, and asset optimization processes.
ITIL certification is considered a plus.
Expert level Portuguese and English.
French knowledge is considered advantageous.
