BUSINESS ANALYST
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a strategic data transformation initiative focused on the design, development and rollout of a Data Factory framework. In this role, you will work closely with developers, data engineers and product owners to translate business requirements into functional specifications and contribute to the delivery of a robust and scalable data aggregation platform.

What You Will Do on a Daily Basis

Gather and analyse requirements from business stakeholders, data owners and regulatory teams.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, including user stories, acceptance criteria and data model documentation.
Create and maintain project documentation, such as requirements catalogues, data dictionaries, process maps and test plans.
Support test planning activities and contribute to the design of test cases.
Communicate project progress, outcomes and key updates through sprint reviews, demos and status reports.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and propose enhancements to the data framework.
Collaborate with development teams to define optimal data flows and transformation logic.
Define, implement and maintain data quality rules, validation checks and monitoring frameworks.

Your Key Skills

Strong knowledge of the financial and banking sector.
Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Understanding of data migration initiatives and large-scale data aggregation projects.
Solid SQL development skills, preferably with Oracle databases.
Knowledge of PL/SQL development.
Ability to manage requirements traceability from specification through delivery.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Your Main Qualifications

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex technology or data-driven environments.
Experience working in Agile delivery frameworks.
Autonomous, organised and delivery-oriented mindset.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Proactive attitude with strong ownership and risk mitigation capabilities.
Portuguese proficiency at a professional or native level.
English proficiency at an advanced level (C1/C2).
French language knowledge is considered a plus.
